Twenty-five-plus years deep, and Houston's P.L.F. are still the most vicious two-piece in the game. Originally operating under the brilliantly absurdist moniker Pretty Little Flower, Dave Callier and drummer Bryan Fajardo — who also holds down the throne in Noisear, Kill the Client, and Gridlink — have spent the better part of three decades building one of the most formidable catalogues in underground grind. 

Their sound sits at a filthy crossroads: the raw, blastbeat ferocity of Terrorizer and Insect Warfare dragged into a head-on collision with the thrashing, riff-driven evil of Kreator and Sodom, then detonated at warp speed. They've done eight US tours, five in Europe, hit Japan, but somehow Australia has remained out of reach — until now.

April changes all that. And these aren't strangers coming to town — P.L.F. have had real skin in the Australian underground for years, dropping their Ultimate Whirlwind of Incineration LP through Melbourne's own Blastasfuk label and sharing wax with locals Incinerated on a split 7". When two bands share a record, it means something. This is a homecoming for people who've never actually been here, and that kind of connection only exists in the underground.
