Spokane's MASSDEAD deal exclusively in total annihilation, and New World Hoarder is another notch in that campaign. This three-piece works the UK crust vein — Extreme Noise Terror, the better Sore/Saw Throat albums, Warcollapse and Doom, plus a clear debt to Japan's Life and Framtid — and the result is five tracks of grindy, distorted, pure audio violence that never lets up. Monstrous, hyper-paced metallic crusty and putrid hardcore that I love and so should you. Even has a slight Terroriser vibe, so you know this is top-tier audio violence.

Titles like "Gouge Out Your Eyes" and "Oligarch Landfill" tell you exactly what register this record operates in, and the band delivers on the promise: hyper-energetic, engaging in the way only genuinely committed crust can be, favouring the grimier, grindier edge of the genre over straight d-beat worship. This ticks every box for anyone who takes their crust over their d-beat — dirty, violent, and worth every filthy dollar.
