Convict Class-Generation Of Discontent album review By Mark J. A glorious Punk Classic!!! Apologies for the late mail on this, but this is an absolute classic and you don't wanna miss this album. Definitely one of the best Aussie punk releases in the last 15 years. The band are great blokes who make Oi/Streetpunk which is rare these days besides Marching Orders and The Clinch. The foundation is a mix of Anti-Nowhere League, Angelic Upstarts, Sham 69 and Sex Pistols. And this four-piece really owns the songs by being tight as hell with masterful playing, tuff as nails vocals and that searing guitar dominance. Generation of Discontent is the debut album after a sensational demo way back in 2022, endless great singles and the wicked Conspiracy Theory EP earlier this year. These 12 tracks are solid as hell and they remind me of all the classic punk and Oi! comps, the sensational ones with endless back-to-back ripping tracks. The production is very non-metal despite being at the han...

These are the dog bollocks, concise short reviews of shit you need to buy now. Got it, now read, buy and thank me later fuckface. We have a blindingly awesome selection of releases here. Let's go and get into these bangers. THESE ARE WICKED RELEASES!!! Like x5 of the best of the year!!! Used Goods-Hey There Human. Yes, I know this punk classic dropped in May from the Southport Qld nutters, but it needs all your attention. This, Convict Class, and The Owen Guns are the best punk/Oi! bands in the country at the moment and these guys should play Rebellion,100%. These seven tracks are all late-night boozer/hooligan/yobbo anthems in the vein of Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Uk Subs, the Partisans/Abrasive Wheels mixed with Aussies Cosmic Psychos/X. Mark from the band does the best punk paper old-school zine around called the GC Bugle, msg him to buy copi...

Werewolves interview with Sam, as expected always brutal and funny as fuck. What legends!!.

Werewolves interview with Sam, as expected always brutal and funny as fuck. What legends!!. Killer band, top blokes. Keep the hype train running because these are the best death metal rock pigs in the nation! The grandiose 2024 Werewolves interview: Greetings, it seems like you have been around forever, but it’s only been five years with one EP and five albums-minus cheap beer and probable use of AI, how the fuck do you keep dropping such crushing and filthy releases? SAM: We bash other bands and steal their riffs. OK, I wish we did that, it’d probably be easier. Matt simply picks a week, caffeinates until his eyeballs vibrate, writes an album, gives them to Dave who has an insatiable hunger to record blasts for every band on the planet, then the filtered drip-fed death metal makes its way to me. And I just try and keep up with them. Simple as that. Live you are as abrasive as you could expect given the long line of bands you guys have been in, what’s the highlight gig wise...
